Today’s guest is Certified Financial Planner, Wes Shannon. Wes became a Certified Financial Planner and founder of SJK Financial Planning after going back to school for his undergrad in his early fifties. He describes himself as “an old white guy” and a true Texan and he has a true heart for helping people with this finances including volunteering his services to help those such as single moms work on organizing their finances.
Wes is an alley as we talk about how to bridge the race gap and talk about the racial wealth divide. While there is a majority out there as a number of people, there doesn’t need to be a divide in the way we think about ourselves and each other and I think it’s important to get everyone involved in the conversation if we’re going to eliminate this gap..
